Coffee Lovers

Listen up coffee lovers! If you can’t skip a day without your morning coffee then you’re in luck. Coffee is one of the tastiest and most energizing drinks that can be easily paired with your avocado toast. The following are some of our favorite picks, which you can conveniently find at Toasty!

Avocado Toast with Coffee

If you want to keep things simple -- enjoy a Latte. A Latte’s simple ingredients of espresso and steamed milk not only taste great, but will give you that boost of energy you need first thing in the morning. On the other hand, if you’re someone who likes to cut to the chase, we recommend you pair your toast with a shot of espresso. You can also pair your toast with a cappuccino which is a nice blend of espresso with your choice of steamed milk.

If your taste buds are craving something more refreshing, an iced coffee is a great choice to pair with your avocado toast as well. Any of these choices are sure to taste great with your avocado toast, while giving you the boost of energy you need. Don’t hesitate to try and prepare these at home, too. We’re sure your version will taste amazing!

Spill the Tea

If coffee isn't your drink of choice don’t you worry - we’ve got your back with some amazing tea recommendations that pair delightfully with avocado toast. If you prefer something warm, try pairing your toast with hot tea. Different options, such as matcha or chai tea, also pair well with avocado toast. While visiting Toasty, make sure to try our Matcha Latte or Chai Latte. Both are warm delicious blends that will make your avocado toast meal that much better, and offer more nutritional value to your morning breakfast. Matcha is high in antioxidants and can also help protect your liver. Chai is also great, because it helps reduce blood sugar levels and boost your overall heart health.

For a sweeter yet nutritious choice for those looking to add healthy nutrients into your morning breakfast or afternoon brunch, we also offer a Turmeric Latte that we’re sure you’ll love. Not to mention, turmeric holds a lot of medicinal properties and even holds anti-inflammatory compounds. Our delicious blend at Toasty consists of a milk of your choice with turmeric and a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. You can also opt for an iced tea alongside your avocado toast if you’re in the mood for something more refreshing!

Smoothies Galore

Smoothies are one of our favorite drinks to enjoy here at Toasty! They taste amazing and make it so easy to ensure that you’re having your serving of fruits and vegetables everyday. What’s great is that by simply adding a few sweet ingredients like fruits or honey, a drink that would otherwise taste bland, can quickly turn into a tasty yet nutritional beverage.

Light & Airy

More of a simple beverage drinker? Try some lemonade, or a simple glass of lemon water. Either option will hit the spot, especially on a hot summer day, and provide you with a light, fresh flavor of tart lemon.

If you didn't know, lemons can promote hydration, are a good source of Vitamin C (which may reduce your risk of cardiovascular diseases, strokes, and can lower blood pressure), improve the appearance of your skin, aid digestion, and freshen your breath. That last one might be a shocker-- but lemons are believed to stimulate saliva and water, which will prevent a dry mouth. And the strong, acidic taste of a lemon is a natural breath freshener in itself.

So if coffee, teas, or smoothies, don't excite you, go ahead and wash your avocado toast down with a nice, tall glass of lemon water. Add more than just a single wedge of lemon in your cup to reap the full health benefits of lemon water, and remember to always use fresh lemons, rather than artificial juice from a bottle.

Boost your lemon water by adding:

  • Mint sprigs

  • A slice of fresh ginger

  • Some raspberries

  • A sprinkle of turmeric

  • Slices of other fresh citrus, such as lime and/or orange

  • A teaspoon of raw honey

  • Cucumber wedges

Pack a "Berry" Powerful Punch

Feeling like you need an antioxidant fix? Try an acai bowl topped with berries, bananas, honey, almonds, and granola, which will really pack a powerful punch combined with your delicious plate of avocado toast. Acai bowls have gained a ton of popularity for its Instagrammable appearance and numerous health benefits. They're widely known to be extremely delicious, with a creamy texture and mouth-watering flavor.

Acai Bowl

Most acai bowls are high in fiber, antioxidants, and micronutrients--like vitamin C, potassium, and manganese. Vitamin C and manganese protect your body and boosts its development, energy production, and immune response. And potassium is a crucial aid in regulating blood pressure levels.

At Toasty, our acai bowls are made fresh to order, and are blended using only the best ingredients. We start our bowls off with an organic acai puree, which is then combined with a mix of bananas and blueberries. Then, our bowls are topped off with some yummy honey-almond granola, bananas, strawberries, honey, and

coconut flakes, before they're delivered to

your table or your doorstep via Ubereats.

An Old-Timer Favorite

Yogurt is something you can pick up during a weekly trip to the grocery store, or even at a last-minute run to a convenience store down the street. You've seen it served plain, topped with granola, and even turned into a dessert by spreading some out on a baking sheet, adding fresh fruit, and throwing it in the freezer.

"The perfect thick and hearty side dish to eat with your avocado toast."

It's the perfect thick and hearty side dish to eat with your avocado toast. Yogurt is rich in protein and healthy fats; it's a very filling breakfast or snack. Eating yogurt may result in less hunger and increased satiety. The calcium in yogurt benefits the body's bone health, and the probiotics improves digestive health by maintaining levels of good bacteria in the gut. This is why yogurt is often found among arrays of breakfast foods on your table.

Nowadays, there are so many yogurt options for you to choose from: plain yogurt, flavored yogurt, greek yogurt, goat milk yogurt, and non-dairy yogurt. For those of you with lactose allergies, coconut yogurt, soy yogurt, almond milk yogurt,

and oat milk yogurt are all accessible at major

grocery chains.
